171 Collins Street Award

Charter Hall and Cbus Property have won the top environment award from the Australian Property Institute for their development at 171 Collins Street in the CBD.

Known as the Environmental Development Award, it was received for the city’s first Property Council of Australia premium-grade 6-star Green Star Office building, which has achieved a 100 per cent Green Star score in management, energy and water efficiency.

Charter Hall also took the Preston Rowe Paterson Joe Curlewis Property Trust Industry Award. Meanwhile, Brookfield Multiplex received the CBRE Property Development Award for its $200 million project, the RMIT Swanston Academic Building.
