Sky-high ceremony as office tower Nine The Esplanade tops out at Elizabeth Quay

Brookfield Properties and Cbus Property have celebrated a construction milestone at Perth’s newest office tower, Nine The Esplanade, with a topping out ceremony to mark the evolution of the city’s Elizabeth Quay precinct.

Guests including The Hon. Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti were treated to a taste of the breathtaking city and waterfront views to be enjoyed from the 19-storey office tower, which is on track for completion early in 2025.

Nine The Esplanade will provide premium accommodation to a range of tenants including EY, Hub Australia, Multiplex, and Argonaut in one of Perth’s most connected precincts, supported by unrivalled transport options, as well as outstanding day and night amenity. It will also be the home to the new Little Creatures Elizabeth Quay, featuring a dining, brewing and taproom experience on the ground floor.

Jointly designed by international architectural firms REX and Hassell, Nine The Esplanade boasts circa 33,500 square metres of lettable space, including 4,600 square metres of co-working spaces. The next-generation design showcases premium end-of-trip facilities, floor-to-ceiling glass, touchless access, wellness room, conference facilities and concierge services.

Nine The Esplanade is targeting market leading sustainability ratings, including a 6 Star Green Star rating, 5.5 star NABERS Energy rating and International Well Building Institute (IWBI) WELL Gold Core certification.
