River Street, Richmond

River Street is a proposed residential development on a circa one-hectare site at 43-67 River Street, Richmond.

The concept design comprises 187 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences across two 10- and 12-level apartment towers and multi-level townhouses fronting the Yarra River. The residences will share a two-level basement car park.

Amenities include an indoor pool, residents’ co-working space and communal rooftop terrace. The site features an elevated position with Yarra River and city views.

The site is within walking distance of Bridge Road retail centres and Victoria Gardens, with trams 150 metres away. A walking and bicycle trail connects directly to the city alongside the Yarra River.

SJB Architects has been appointed for the preliminary concept design.

Planning application anticipated later in 2025, with sales campaign launching in Q3 2026 and construction commencing in early 2027.
