Bates Smart, the architects for 35 Spring Street, will again partner with Cbus Property to deliver another iconic residential building, this time in a more limited, exclusive and luxurious format. The site was previously home to Mercure Hotel which has now been demolished to path the way for the construction of 17 Spring Street.
The development is really starting to take shape as the facade nears the top of the building, enclosing the upper residential levels. The façade is expected to wrap around the remainder of the floors by late July 2022.The fitout of the internal floors is currently up to Level 23, with the installation of joinery and timber flooring progressing through the mid-levels. The construction of the Level 2 pool and Level 3 dining areas are progressing, as is the fitout of the ground-floor lobby.
