National award-winning integrated property investor and developer, Cbus Property, has officially opened 205 North Quay in Brisbane, redefining the future of work in Australia as one of the first office towers designed around a holistic wellbeing ecosystem.
The $600 million landmark commercial development recently reached practical completion, marking a bold new chapter in workplace innovation that places human experience, sustainability and performance at the forefront, while setting a new national benchmark for healthier, more connected and purpose-driven work environments.
Now fully tenanted, the visionary building encompasses Brisbane’s first whole-floor wellness facility and an 18-metre open-air public plaza with a 210-seat auditorium, reaffirming Cbus Property’s leadership in next-generation office environments.

Delivered by Hutchinson Builders, the 30-level, 43,700-square-metre, premium-grade office tower was designed through a partnership with renowned firms Hassell, REX and Richards & Spence to anticipate and respond to the evolving needs of modern workforces.
Cbus Property’s Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Pozzo, said that every element of 205 North Quay’s sub-tropical architecture and operations had been shaped to support health, connection and productivity.
“We envisioned a workplace that would not only support employee wellbeing, but actively enhance it,” Mr Pozzo said.
“205 North Quay is the result of that vision – a future-focused work environment that empowers people to thrive.”
At the heart of 205 North Quay’s design is a commitment to placing people first. Outdoor terraces on every level offer natural light, fresh air and landscaped spaces, supporting a dynamic workplace experience that encourages focus and connection, while fostering collaboration, informal interaction and flexible working.
Anchoring this vision is Brisbane’s first whole-floor wellness facility, featuring a 25-metre lap pool and wellness deck. Enhanced by biophilic design, panoramic river views and abundant natural light, the building exemplifies Brisbane City Council’s ‘Buildings That Breathe’ initiative.

Now a defining feature of Brisbane’s riverfront skyline, 205 North Quay is catalysing the transformation of the city’s North Quarter.
“This project reflects the outstanding dedication and capability of our team, who have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life as a landmark destination for Brisbane,” Mr Pozzo said.
“It is an achievement that exemplifies the quality and enduring value for which Cbus Property is known, strengthening our position within Australia’s premium commercial and residential development landscape.”
To complement the vibrant public plaza and state-of-the-art auditorium, the precinct will soon introduce curated retail and signature dining experiences, further establishing 205 North Quay as a true destination for business and the wider community.
