Cbus Property launches 2021 Sustainability Report


Cbus Property is  very pleased to share with you our 2021 Sustainability Report. FY2021 has been another terrific year for Cbus Property and sustainability continues to be an integral part of the way we manage and develop our property portfolio.

Our results not only show that we are delivering on our goals, but more importantly, that this strategy creates tangible value for all our members, partners, customers, communities and investors.

Some of the key achievements we are pleased to share are:

  • Achieving a NABERS “Triple Crown” for 171 Collins, Melbourne, making it the most sustainable commercial office building in Australia with 6-star NABERS Energy, Waste and Indoor Environment ratings;
  • Achieving the highest rated NABERS Energy portfolio in Australia for the second consecutive year, with an average rating of 5.5 stars; as well as Australia’s highest rated NABERS Waste portfolio, with an average rating of 3.5 stars;
  • Being awarded Australia’s first 6 Star Green Star – Design & As Built Version 1.2 Design Review Certified rating for a residential tower at 443 Queen St, Brisbane, by the Green Building Council of Australia; and
  • Ranking among the top tier (1 per cent) of global participants in the 2021 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) assessment.

These achievements demonstrate our commitment to constantly push the boundaries.
