Chair
Georgina Lynch is the Chair of Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services and property industries. With significant global expertise, Georgina brings valuable knowledge in corporate transactions, capital raisings, initial public offerings, funds management, corporate strategy and acquisitions and divestments.
In addition to being Chair of Cbus Property, Georgina is also Chair of ASX-listed Waypoint REIT, a director of ASX-listed PEXA Group and a non-executive director of ASX-listed Vicinity Centres.
Georgina holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws.
Independent Director
Susan has more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in property investment management, primarily in the retail sector, including asset, development and funds management. She has extensive experience in people management, organisational culture, strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
Susan has held executive positions with Mirvac, Lendlease, AMP Capital and Galileo Funds Management, and is a former Joint Deputy Chair of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and a former Global Trustee of Urban Land Institute (ULI). Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts (UNSW), is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a current Global Trustee of Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Susan is also a Non-Executive Director and Member of the Risk Committee and the HR and Remuneration Committee of Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC); a Non-Executive Director and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of Landcom; a Non-Executive Director Member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Remuneration Committee of Waypoint REIT; and a Strategic Advisor to the Board of Mainbrace Constructions.
Independent Director
Simon has over 30 years of experience in the finance and real estate industry with roles including equities analyst covering listed real estate and retail companies at Macquarie Bank and JP Morgan; and corporate advisor to major real estate groups at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Simon was formerly the Head of Strategy and Stakeholder Relations at Stockland Trust Group, and a member of the Executive Committee. He holds a Master of Commerce degree in finance and accounting.
Simon’s other roles include Chair of Kiwi Property Group, Chair of HomeCoDaily Needs REIT, and non-executive director at Ingenia Communities Group, an ASX listed land-lease communities business, Assembly Funds Management, and SGCH a not-for-profit community housing provider.
Employer Director
Hedley has more than 25 years of senior management experience in the building, development, civil infrastructure and mining services sectors and has held a number of senior leadership roles at WATPAC, JA Dodd Ltd and Baulderstone Hornibrook Limited.
Hedley brings to the Board a wealth of industry experience and is a past president of both Master Builders Victoria (MBV) and Master Builders Australia (MBA), where he chaired the Industrial Relations Committee.
Hedley also sat on the Board of Incolink for nine years, which included representation on both the Investment Committee and the Risk, Finance & Audit Committee.
Hedley has been an Employer Director of Cbus Super since 2019 and is a member of Cbus’ Investment committee and People, Culture and Remuneration committee.
Employer Director
Michelle has more than 20 years’ experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, cybersecurity risk and corporate governance, primarily in the travel, higher education and logistics industries. This includes the Chief Information Officer position with Intrepid Travel and Open Universities Australia and strategic change roles with Australia Post.
Michelle’s current non-executive director and Audit & Risk Committee appointments include Charles Sturt University, The Leukaemia Foundation, EPA Victoria and Essential Services Commission. Michelle is also an Employer Director of Cbus Super, Chair of the Cbus Audit and Finance Committee and a member of the Cbus Risk Committee.
Michelle holds an MBA (Executive) and a Bachelor of Business (Charles Sturt University). She is a Graduate AICD, a Certified Practising Accountant and a Certified Professional of the Australian Computer Society.
Member Director
Earle Setches completed his plumbing and sprinkler-fitting apprenticeship in 1982, before working ‘on the tools’ until 1999.
Earle is state and federal secretary of the Plumbing Trades Employees Union (PTEU). He is also Chair of the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC), the education arm of the PTEU, where industry stakeholders join together to provide advanced specialist training with a key focus on green plumbing solutions.

Earle’s qualifications include RG146 for Superannuation. He was involved in the successful negotiation of an Affiliation Agreement between Australia, the United States and Canada for exchanging skills training and knowledge in emerging technologies.
Member Director
Jason has served as a Member Director of Cbus since January 2022 and currently sits on the Investment Committee as well as the Member, Employer & Growth Committee. He has previously contributed as a member of both the Audit & Finance and Risk Committees.
In 2024, Jason also held the position of Member Director at ISPT, where he played an active role in the ISPT and IFM merger and served on the Audit & Risk Committee.
Jason is the General Manager of Commercial Operations at the Canberra Tradesmen’s Union Club. He was formerly the ACT Secretary of the Construction Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU) from 2018 to 2021, following eight years as Assistant Secretary of the ACT Branch. Prior to his leadership within the union, Jason worked in the ACT construction industry.
He served as Chair of the ACT Work Health and Safety Council from 2018 to October 2021, Deputy Chair of the Canberra Tradesmen’s Union Club from 2010 to 2018, and Chair of the Club from 2018 to 2021.
Jason brings extensive experience in governance, leadership, and the strategic development of registered organisations and charities. His work has consistently focused on delivering high-quality services and support to construction industry workers and their families. His leadership has driven significant organisational reform, resulting in improved wellbeing and outcomes for workers and their families. He has a particular interest in strengthening governance frameworks, policy development, and financial oversight.
Chief Executive Officer
Adrian Pozzo is the Chief Executive Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has been with the company since 2007. With over 35 years of experience as an executive in the property and construction industries, Adrian brings extensive expertise from his work in both private and public companies.
He is responsible for the strategic performance and management of all aspects of the Cbus direct property investment business, overseeing major investments and developments across the commercial, retail, and residential sectors. Adrian’s leadership has been instrumental in establishing Cbus Property as a significant player in the Australian property market.
Adrian is dedicated to sustainable development practices and industry leadership, demonstrated through his active involvement in key industry organisations. He is recognised for his commitment to advancing the property sector through sustainable and innovative practices.
Adrian serves as the Chair of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). He is a Member of the Victoria University Council, a member of the Property Champions of Change coalition and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Chief Operating Officer
Chris Kakoufas is the Chief Operating Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd, having been promoted from his previous role as Chief Investment Officer. With significant experience in the property sector, Chris brings comprehensive expertise in acquisition strategy and operational excellence across residential, commercial and retail markets.
He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the company, executing on the approved Business Investment Strategy, and directing new and key strategic initiatives. Chris plays a pivotal role in identifying and maximising growth opportunities while enabling leaders to focus on their strengths.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Planning & Design (Building), and is recognised for his ability to challenge teams to achieve superior outcomes while supporting the realisation of the business’s ESG objectives.
Chief Finance, Governance & Risk Officer
Rachel Taylor is the Chief Finance, Governance & Risk Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has been with the company since 2001. With extensive experience gained through roles in the Finance, Commercial and Governance departments, Rachel brings comprehensive expertise in financial management, risk frameworks, and corporate governance.
She is responsible for overseeing the finance, treasury, risk, and governance functions, enhancing financial efficiency, optimising cash flow, and supporting forecasting to ensure the company remains agile and well-positioned for future investment opportunities. This streamlined structure allows for a sharper focus on strategic planning and operational efficiencies across these critical business areas.
Rachel is committed to maintaining robust governance frameworks while driving financial performance that supports the company’s growth objectives.
Rachel is a Chartered Accountant (UK) and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, recognised for her strategic approach to financial management and excellence in corporate governance.
Chief Experience Officer
Lucy Thomas is the Chief Experience Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has been with the company since August 2019. With extensive experience across multiple management functions in both Australia and the UK, Lucy brings valuable expertise in workplace transformation in culture and technology, people experience, consulting, strategy, and operational management.
She is responsible for leading the company’s people strategy, practices, and change initiatives, focusing on future-proofing people policies and delivering key corporate programs. Lucy also oversees Cbus Property’s technology and digital enablement agenda, including systems modernisation, compliance, and workplace innovation. In addition, she leads the company’s marketing and brand strategy, ensuring a cohesive and engaging approach across all communications.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Lucy plays a critical role in shaping the company’s culture and employee experience while driving business-wide technology transformation. She is committed to creating an innovative, inclusive, and high-performing workplace that supports the company’s strategic objectives and empowers teams to deliver exceptional results.
Lucy has held numerous general management positions throughout her career and holds an Executive MBA.
Chief Development Officer
Gavin Grahame is the Chief Development Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has been with the company since 2013. With over 30 years of experience in the property industry, Gavin brings deep expertise across the commercial, residential, and retail sectors, with a strong track record in both developments and strategic acquisitions.
He is responsible for overseeing Cbus Property’s national development operations and plays a key role in shaping the company’s portfolio through the delivery and acquisition of high-quality, sustainable assets. In Queensland, Gavin has led the successful development of landmark projects such as 1 William Street and 443 Queen Street, with major projects currently underway at 205 North Quay and 185 Wharf Street.
Gavin is a strong advocate for an innovative, values-led culture that empowers teams, drives change, and fosters growth across the organisation.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Queensland and is recognised for his commitment to design excellence, innovation, and creating enduring value through the built environment.
Chief Investment Office
Robert Johnston is the Chief Investment Officer at Cbus Property Pty Ltd and has been with the company since 2022. With extensive experience across property and infrastructure sectors, Rob brings valuable expertise through his previous roles in Development at Scentre Group/Westfield and PwC Infrastructure Advisory.
He is responsible for overseeing the composition and performance of Cbus Property’s investment portfolio, which focuses on prime commercial office and retail assets. In his recent position as Head of Retail, Rob successfully managed the company’s $1.4 billion investment in Pacific Fair and Macquarie Centre, acquired in 2021.
Rob is committed to strategic growth and driving exceptional performance through sound investment decisions and portfolio optimisation.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, recognised for his analytical approach and commitment to creating long-term value for investors.
